4 Luv of Dog Rescue Awarded $5,000 Grant!

4 Luv of Dog Rescue has received a $5,000 grant from the ASPCA® (The American Society for thePrevention of Cruelty to Animals®). The grant funding will be used to help fund spay/neuter procedures for non-sterilized dogs that have been rescued from area pounds or surrendered by their owners.

“4 Luv of Dog Rescue is a firm supporter of the ASPCA’s position that affordable spay/neuter programs are crucial in helping to decrease the number of animals that end up in shelters each year,” says Kish Hilmert, president of 4 Luv of Dog Rescue. “We are grateful that the ASPCA has chosen to assist us in our spay/neuter efforts, and we look forward to continuing to work towards finding loving homes for the dogs in our care.”

“The ASPCA was glad to be able to help 4 Luv of Dog Rescue with their spay/neuter goals,” said Michael Barrett, vice president of grants management for the ASPCA. “It is our hope that this grant will support their work in truly making a difference in their community.”
