4 Luv of Dog Rescue Receives Grant from the Pedigree Foundation

4 Luv of Dog Rescue, an all-volunteer run, non-profit animal rescue group in Fargo ND, has been awarded a $653.87 grant by the Pedigree Foundation. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue shares the belief of the Pedigree Foundation that every dog deserves a loving home. The grant money will be used to help cover costs associated with providing care for dogs in foster care and boarding.  Some of the expenses incurred are for veterinary care, boarding, food, treats, kennels, beds, blankets, leashes, collars, toys, bowls, brushes, grooming, etc.

Through no fault of their own, more than four million dogs end up in shelters and breed rescue organizations every year, and nearly half of them never find a place to call home. The Pedigree Foundation’s mission is to help those dogs by providing grants to 501(c)(3) shelters and rescue groups—and by encouraging dog adoption.
