Bandit Needs Surgery!

Bandit was surrendered to a vet clinic in Oklahoma almost a year ago after being hit by a car. The kind people at the clinic put a pin in his fractured hip but unfortunately it didn’t work. They asked us to take him in & we agreed to get him taken care of. Since Bandit has been in our care he has been kept on pain medication & has been undergoing physical rehab to help strengthen his muscles for future surgery. We have learned that Bandit will need surgeries on BOTH legs now – with a torn ACL on his other leg since he’s been soley using that leg for so long. Poor Bandit is in tough shape but is happy in his foster home. Bandidt has endured at least 1.5 years of pain related to his injury and despite this pain he is still a wonderfully sweet dog with a good spirit. He needs these much needed surgeries to be happy & pain free once again. Please consider making a donation for this sweet boy!

Bandit Update! Bandit is back in his foster home after his first surgery! He is happy to be there, and they are happy to welcome him back. This first surgery was for the leg that had the torn ACL. He will be limited in activity, which is unfortunately not new for this guy, and have some rehab ahead of him. While he is healing, we are hoping to raise the final funds to complete his second surgery. Less than a $1000 of our $6000 to go! Thank you to those who have donated and for everyone’s kind words and wishes for Bandit! We have awesome supporters!
