18 Dec Happy Tail for Jimmy!
My Husband Jim was the one who went & picked out Jimmy at your adoption event at Pet Smart on Sept. 24th. I was at a wedding for the day and came home to find him. I was unsure at the time if I was ready to have another dog. We have a 7yr old female cockapoo that didn’t seem to get along with other dogs other than her companion that we had to put down last Dec. Of course just before the 2 week trial period was up, we just knew we were going to make this his forever home.
We are snowbirds and Jimmy and his new friend Roxy,(who by the way decided it’s ok to have somebody new to play with), are having fun in the sun and warmth here in Arizona. Jimmy still needs some attention to deal with separation anxiety when I’m not around, but we are working on that, especially when we go out….I’m glad he’s crate trained….maybe one day he won’t need to be put in the crate…..
