Happy Tail for Jori

Happy Tail for Jori

We had our hearts broken so badly in March, 2010, when our Miniature Chihuahua, Wor past away suddenly. Within days, both Dick and I were lost and with heavy heart and pushing from my sister Pat, and her help, we got Jori. His coloring and markings are so close to Wors. Jori is not all Chihuahua, but he sure has many habits of Wor’s that makes me believe that Wor sent this dog to us!

The life Jori had, before foster care with Rhonda and Scott was heart wrenching. But, I can say now that this dog rules the house and is very close to us! We spoiled him rotten, becuz when Dick goes to the store he had best bring in a new squeak toy or a favorite chew he likes, otherwise Jori goes and pouts (!), but in return, he gives us love for payment. Jori has learned to camp, and loves the different parks we have gone to, and he rides really well in the car, and has his own front seat in the car and in our RV. He isn’t too crazy about the golf cart yet, as it only has a roof and windshield on it and I know that eventually Dick will buy doors for it becuz that is going to make Jori happier when riding in it…..! He comes first and foremost, and we just love this guy to the max! We had him in dog obedience school and he did good.

I am so thankful for 4 Luv of Dogs and their understanding and cooperation in getting Jori to us, as fast as they did. We had tried to adopt three other Chihuahua dogs with “no success, nor help” with two organizations we went thru, until one lady told me about 4 Luv of Dogs, I went to their link and found Tori and Jori in there and within days they had Jori in our home and how wonderful it was to meet Rhonda and Scott who fostered Jori and we got first hand information on how he was around them, and their daughter.

Jori is quite the dog, and Dick just cannot get enough of watching this dog play or sleeping on the back of our couch. Jori has his own pillow in our big bed and sleeps with us, but every night Jori stands on the landing wanting to go to bed with one of his chew sticks sticking out of his mouth like a stogie, after he goes outside to potty before bed time! That chew is a must for when he goes to bed! (Not of our choosing, but Jori gets what he wants.) :>)Each day Jori brings more laughter and love into our lives and hearts.

The hard work that these people at 4 Luv of Dogs face each day is astronomical, they show their love and their concern for every dog they rescue and we are so grateful for this organization that avidly works to find homes for every dog they get!! Thank you (!!!) from Dick and I for Jori, and bringing peace to us after losing our precious dog Wor. You all have hearts made of Gold!!!!!!!!!!!
