02 Nov Happy Tail for Lucy
We adopted Lucy into our home in April 2010. She is a terrier mix and was about 5 1/2 months old at the time of the adoption. Our entire family has fallen head over heals in love with Lucy since this time. She is a funny little pup who loves to play, go on long walks with her grandpa and has loads of energy! She is very sweet and does so well with kids and other dogs. This summer she had fun with the boys while they were out of school, made friends with a few of the neighbor dogs, went to several baseball games and went on a few camping weekends with our family, where she loved being outside, playing with the other dogs and even went on a canoe ride!
Our cat is not quite as fond of Lucy as we are as Lucy wants to play and Sammy wants peace, but the rest of us think she has been a wonderful addition to our family and we are so lucky to have found her. My most favorite sound is at the end of the day when she cuddles up by my feet in bed and lets out a peaceful sigh….I think she is saying, “ahhh, life is good!”
Thank you to 4 Luv of Dog, what you do is amazing for these animals. It saddens me to think of all the dogs that have not been as fortunate as our Lucy. We are very proud to have had a very small part in all the wonderful things your organization does.
