Foster Home Feedback
02/08/2024 Foster Feedback: Melina (aka Millie) is friendly with all dogs, big or small, male or female. She lives with our two Boston Terriers and Rottweiler. Her and her Rottweiler friend are best buds and they play nonstop! She is not food or toy aggressive, she takes food and treats very ladylike. Melina is also good with cats, she currently lives with three. She is nice to them, but sometimes tries to play with them as if they were dogs. She will chase, but not harm them.
She is 90% potty trained, she does very well if she has frequent potty breaks, but sometimes she is too focused on playing with her friends and forgets why she is out there to begin with!
Melina is perfect in the kennel; she would rather be out with her friends, though. She knows basic commands, but would benefit very much from obedience classes, as she can be a bit jumpy. With a little work and patience, she will be a perfect companion in any household.
** Melina is lyme positive. This is a tick-borne illness, and s/he is currently being treated with Doxycycline.
