“We had applied for Ruby (FKA Midge Maisel) a few weeks ago but she was adopted by another family. Sad. But, a few days later, we got a call that that placement didn’t work out and were asked if we would still be interested in meeting Ruby. Yes!! But we were warned that Ruby didn’t love men. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue was very transparent with us, they wanted us to know what we were getting into with Ruby. My husband said he was “up to the challenge” and “maybe he was the one Ruby had been looking for her whole life”. Well, if the past several days are any indication, he was right, Ruby loves both of us! She is such a good girl and we are blessed to have her.”
