9/27/2020: If you are familiar with the classic Chihuahua stereotype, you are on your way to understanding Cutie. She is very tiny and I think that makes her more fearful - wouldn't you be nervous if everyone and everything around you was that much bigger than you are? Getting to know Cutie takes time and happens on her schedule but when she knows she is safe with you, her beautiful personality emerges. She is extremely loving and she wants to be with you all the time. Cutie's tiny tail wags so quickly and she tippy-toes around you to get your attention. She has a high pitched squeaky whine if she really needs you!
Cutie is potty trained and crate trained. She would love to sleep in bed with her people at night but she is also quiet in her crate. She gets along fine with our dogs and after a couple of weeks is just starting to snuggle with them. However, we have not seen her play with them or show any interest in that. She is simply happy to coexist peacefully with them.
Cutie would not enjoy being around children. She would like a quiet household without a lot of commotion. She does go on short walks but doesn't need or want a lot of exercise or space to do so. She will bark when our dogs bark.
We adore this little honey!
