Foster Home Feedback

        *  Ayla has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia, she requires daily pain medication, the cost of $83.00 per month. She needs to be on a joint supplement like Dasaquin which is $60.00 for a month and a half. It is also recommended that Ayla continue her weight loss journey as being lean will help with her hip pain.

INFO: Meet Alya! This sweet girl was very shut down when coming into the rescue. She has been in her wonderful foster home for several months now and she has slowly been coming out of her shell. She will need a very patient foster and a quieter home so she can continue to thrive. She is a dog that is going to take multiple meets before she will be able to be adopted so that she will feel more comfortable acclimating to a new home. If you are looking for a low-key dog to just hang with at your home, Ayla could be a good fit. If you have a busy household and are looking for a dog that is a social butterfly to bring with you wherever you go, then she is not your gal. She would do best in a home that does not have a lot of visitors as she gets very nervous meeting strangers. She will need an adopter to be her voice and tell people to just let her be and if she wants to come and say hi she will, but if she doesn't, just to ignore her

10/13/21: Ayla is a beautiful Husky who needs time to adjust to people.  Once she trusts you, she is happy to just be in your presence! She enjoys being pet and scratched and loves having her ears rubbed.  She enjoys the outdoors as long as you are outside with her. Ayla gets along with my two house dogs but does have resource guarding when it comes to her food.

Ayla is potty trained and sleeps through the night on the floor, on her own bed. She is a dog who shows affection by “mouthing” you with her mouth wide open but has never bit. She does take some medication for stiff joints and some calming care to settle her nerves. Ayla loves walking outdoors and does very well on a leash!
