Foster Home Feedback

11/30/2021 Volunteer Feedback: Owen - this hunk of love is very smart, handsome, and goofy.  He loves to do puzzles and play games where his mind gets a workout.  He is a great walker as long as you keep him focused and he also loves to be outside.  Owen seems to prefer fluffy, squeaky toys over anything else and doesn't mind a snuggle session on the couch.  During my shift last night, he did so well on his walk with another volunteer. Then we did a fun food puzzle; Owen is so smart that he uncovered all the food kernels super quickly.  We then played fetch with a fluffy, squeaky toy and once he was ready he flopped on his back and snuggled up to me on the sofa.

Owen will do great in a home that can keep him active - not only physically but mentally as well!

11/18/21 Volunteer Feedback: Hello! I gave Owen a kennel break tonight, and he did great! It was a much-needed break from the building. I can see that he's getting anxious and is definitely craving human connection. And, space to run!  He's a good passenger in the car, walks well, & loves snuggles. I wish I had brought some big dog toys with us, I think he would have appreciated that so much. Owen's got a voice and isn't afraid to let you know it... something that could lessen once he's out of the building possibly? All in all, Owen is a good boy and very, very sweet.
