Foster Home Feedback
1/6/2022: Sam is the coolest little man. He really just loves to cuddle and snuggle.
He loves all the people he has met and has done amazing with everyone who has stopped by for a visit. He prefers a quiet home without a lot of loud noises and wrestling. He seems to prefer women over men but still gets along with both. He tends to bond with one person and make that person his world. He will also protect them. On occasion he will also herd them.
He currently doesn’t live with small children but has been around quiet respectful children and done ok. He does great with the activity in our home but doesn’t do well with loud noises, bangs, or raised voices.
When I say this guy loves snuggles, I mean it …dog beds, couches, fuzzy blankets you name it. He also enjoys curling up by the fire. And you won’t ever have to worry about being lonely in the bathroom or bed ever again. Sam I Am has been exposed to lots of animals on the farm where he is fostered. He is dog friendly but prefers to not be around other dogs. If he is going to live with another dog he prefers a small passive female. Sam I am ignores the large farm animals but he does have a desire to chase and herd small animals. He will tolerate the cats but will chase them on occasion and will not share food with them. Sam I am is amazing for car rides, and curls up to sleep the entire way. He has a big fuzzy blanket in the car and that is his Zen.
IMPORTANT: Sam is a barker if left at home alone so NO housing with shared walls.
Sam is leash trained, crate trained, and potty trained. He however, doesn’t have an ask to go outside so needs to be let out on a schedule. He also hates to be picked up. Sam I am is the sweetest middle aged man and deserves a happy home to retire. Even though he acts ancient he is still playful and has a lot of life left in him for the right match. Will you be his 2022 snuggle buddy?
