6/13/2022 Volunteer Feedback: Nouget's kennel break with me went great! She just met my friends dog this morning and it went smooth! I took her over to their house and it was a very easy meet; it took no time at all for them to start playing!
Nouget is a high energy pup! Having a pal to play with would likely be ideal for her. I crate her during the day while I am at work and that seems to go fine. I spy on her with my furbo and she just snoozes. I don't know that I would trust her to free roam quite yet as she seems to be a chewer. We have been going on lots of walks and working on her manners. When she sees other dogs, she wants to run over to see them.
Nougat is such a lover and she melts my heart. She just wants to be wherever you are and always have a paw on you. She also loves to ride in the car!
5/23/2022 Foster Feedback: Nougat is a one-year-old chocolate lab mix.
Nougat has lots of puppy energy, loves to play, and loves getting massages. She likes taking naps once she has played with her favorite toys.
Nougat does really well in her kennel during the day. At night, she did not enjoy her kennel and slept in the bathroom next to my room with a fan on. She has done really well with potty training. However, she has had a few accidents.
Due to health issues, Nougat was in isolation and was not able to be around other dogs for over 3 weeks. During this time, she worked on her manners and mastered sit, down, shake, and is working on stay. She is very treat motivated.
Nougat likes: peanut butter, carrots, blueberries and string cheese
Nougat can get mouthy but is able to be redirected with a toy or a bone. She was around 5-year-old kids and did well. She does jump on people and can be mouthy so older children would be best. Nougat would do well in a home with another dog/s and a fenced yard.
