Foster Home Feedback
** Dog-savvy cats only!
5/11/2022 Foster Feedback: Bongo is great! He lives with two kids (5, 7) and two grumpy and old small dogs. He has had a couple of accidents figuring out the routine here but has done well overall. He sleeps in bed with us and is in a kennel during the workday. He really wants to play, which isn’t a match for the dogs in this house, but he is respectful of their corrections. He is motivated by food and affection. We really enjoy having Bongo in our home and feel he would be a great addition to many others.
4/27/2022 Volunteer Feedback: Bongo is a very smart boy who knows how to sit, lay, shake and heel! He is very food motivated and a super good listener, especially when there are no other distractions.
While outside, Bongo needs a little more direction and focus, as there are lots of smells and sounds to distract him. He does like to pull when walking but with some good focus and treats, his walking skills were much improved.
Bongo is looking for a home where someone will continue to focus on training him and honing in on his skills and keeping his brain sharp with lots of mental stimulation.
