Foster Home Feedback
5/11/2022 Foster Feedback: Run, don’t walk to the application page! Calboy is one amazing dog who is going to be a dream come true doggy for one lucky person!
Calboy has so many great qualities! While he is a very calm boy, he gets so excited to see us after the work/school day! He wiggles with his entire body when he greets you at the door. He doesn’t jump on you, or any guests, but you can sure tell he is happy to see you! He loves everybody he meets!
Calboy does not like going in a kennel so we’ve left him out and he has been a perfect gentleman. He hasn’t destroyed anything or had any accidents in our house. (He did mark a few times but that will probably be better now that he is fixed).
Calboy sleeps by our bed quietly all night long. He doesn’t wake up until we do. And while he loves attention and belly rubs, he doesn’t need it constantly. He is perfectly content while we are doing other things.
Calboy loves our dog and kids. He is pretty easy to walk but does show an interest in other dogs and people. He is strong so will need to be walked by somebody who can physically keep him close. He isn’t aggressive in any way - he just wants to visit and play!
He does not enjoy car rides - that’s the only tough thing about him. It takes a lot of effort to get him in a vehicle. Once in, he rides fine but don’t expect him to hop in. You will have to lift him in.
As I said, Cal is an AMAZING dog! He is going to be a great friend for anybody looking for a dog!
