Marney is such a sweet girl looking for her forever family to give her lots of attention and love!

Foster Home Feedback

8/11/2022 Volunteer Feedback: This sweet lovebug is ready for a home to shower her with love, pets, kisses, and cuddles! All she requires is to be the only dog, since she can become upset if she has to share her owner with another pet. She wants love and attention on her frequently, so an owner who gives her the recognition she deserves is best. Even though she walks nicely on a leash and enjoys going for an adventure, Marney would equally be pleased by lounging with her owner. She loves squeaky plush toys and would happily spend some alone time with one! True to her breed, she can become whiny if attention is not on her (she is a notorious escape artist to get to a human!), but I am sure she would behave differently in a quiet setting where she was the only dog present. Ensuring that she receives a good amount of mental and physical activity would prevent any likelihood of destructive behavior when she is alone. She easily bonds with humans and is comfortable being affectionate, so considerate children would likely not be an issue for her. Marney belongs in a loving home who will happily take her as their only pet and she will, undoubtedly, make sure that you receive as much love from her as three pets put together!

7/30/2022 Volunteer Feedback: Marney is a sweet, beautiful girl who would love to spend all day getting pets and kisses! Despite her medium build, she believes she is a lap dog and happily plops down to get endless pets. Just when you think you’re done, she is licking your hand/face to ask for more! She does whine when attention is not on her, so an owner who is home often and will not leave this sweet girl alone for too long would be best. She is a kind girl and walks nicely on a leash and knows several cues including “sit” and “come.” I have no doubts that this silver beauty can learn so much more with some guidance (and tasty treats)!

7/30/2022 Foster Feedback: Look at this gorgeous girl! Marney is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. She loves people so much! Marney is very gentle with her people and is beyond loyal. She never wants to stray far from them. Marney stayed with me for a weekend and boy is she a good snuggler. She hopped right into my lap and stayed there for over an hour. Because Marney loves her people so much, she gets a little protective over them and guards them against other animals. This does NOT mean she is a bad dog, she just wants her people to herself. She can coexist with other dogs and can play in short interactions, but would prefer to live in a home with no other dogs. Marney is very food motivated and likes to work for treats. She knows to sit and she does pretty well in her kennel. She can get a little noisy in her kennel, but that could change as she gets more comfortable. Marney walks beautifully on a leash and loves to go for walks. It is hard to explain how kind and sweet Marney really is. As soon as you meet her, you immediately see how kind she is. Marney is so incredibly sweet and deserves a home that will love her as much as she will love you!
