Foster Home Feedback

11/22/2022 Foster Feedback: Garfield is such a sweet boy!! He is very friendly with adults and kids, knows some basic commands like sit, down, fetch, and come, and he does great on walks. The only accident we have had is when he first came in where he immediately marked his territory on the wall. He will kennel on his own if persuaded with a treat or food and sleeps quietly in there at night.

Garfield prefers loving on the humans and getting as many pets and rubs as he can. He is interested in our resident dogs and wants to play, but is a little hesitant to trust his fellow furry pals.

A couple of things we are working on are: not jumping up on counters and the humans (off command), so he may be best with older kids, and slowly socializing with our resident pups.
His beefy head and body shape are pitty for sure. His tail is half GSD and half pit. If his ears stood up, they would be GSD all the way, but they flop over like a pit most of the time. He isn’t a shedder like a shepherd, but sure has the coloring and his fur is so soft!! He's a goofball and has a lot of love to give!
