* Magpie was exposed to Parvovirus. Because there is a chance Magpie could have been infected, she cannot be exposed to other puppies for 3 months. Caution should be taken with exposing Magpie to adult healthy dogs too, but the risk of a healthy adult dog contracting Parvo is very minimal. Absolutely no dog parks, human parks, puppy schools, or pet stores for at least 3 months.

Foster Home Feedback
2/11/2023 Foster Feedback: Magpie came to the rescue with 6 babies. She is a wonderful momma to her babies, but they are grown up now and she needs a home where she can just be a pampered pooch! Magpie is an incredibly loving and sweet dog. She does not seem to have much experience being in a house, so sometimes new things, people, and sounds startle her. She was even scared to get on the couch for the first time but has now decided that her favorite place is the couch and her favorite activity is stretching out on the couch and demanding belly rubs.
Magpie kennels nicely and sleeps quite happily on a dog bed in her foster family's bedroom. She loves to romp and play with all her foster siblings, big and little dogs alike. She is very excited to play with the house kitty, but he will have nothing to do with her. She is very nearly housebroken but has struggled with occasional accidents, as she seems to be a bit shy to ask for permission to go outside. If her family watches for her subtle cues she will always go out and go potty right away.
Magpie would love a family that would spoil her with treats and love. She would fit in best where her people would continue to be patient with her, as the world can still be a pretty scary place for her. However, she is energetic and playful and would want to go for walks or play with a friend or two to burn off some energy!
