Foster Home Feedback
1/22/2023 Foster Feedback: Oh, sweet Divot! Where do I start with this three-legged sweetheart?
Divot is healing beautifully! Besides having trouble getting up the stairs, life is perfect for him! He is happy-go-lucky and pounces around our house just like any other puppy!
He has so many great qualities! He is potty trained with few and far between accidents. He almost always sleeps through the night on a dog bed on our bedroom floor. He sleeps until we’re ready to get up for the day - which I sure appreciate!
He loves playing with our kids and can’t wait to see them each morning. He also loves our crabby old resident dog. He gets a bit nervous meeting new people and acts like a tough guy while hiding between my feet…but he warms up pretty quickly.
Divot is a puppy so be sure and expect some of those typical puppy behaviors. He loves to chew and will find some random things to chew on. He is also a bit mouthy when playing. We make sure he has plenty of bones and toys. Divot doesn’t like being left alone. I’ve left him out for 15 minutes and he sure lets me know how unhappy he is. He has gone potty in the kennel when put in there but he just needs more time to get used to it.
Somebody is going to be lucky to have Divot in their life!
