Foster Home Feedback
3/11/2023 Foster Feedback: My name is Koopa. I am so happy I got a second chance at life after recovering from Parvo. But don't let that scare you away. You would never even know I had it. I am a big boy who has a biggest brown eyes. I can give you my sad eyes and make you give me treats. I love drinking water and eating. I will do anything for a treat. I am 100% potty trained and can hold it for hours. I enjoy my kennel but if you try to put me in there while you're in the house I will know and try to pout until I get to see you again. I just love all dogs and people. I would be happy going for a walk, going for a drive, or just chilling in your backyard. I am a high energy dog and I like to keep busy. If I get bored, I like to chew. But my foster mom has found lots of toys and activities to keep me from chewing on her stuff. Don't get me wrong. I like my naps too. I am big, but I have great manners. I know how to sit, shake, and I'm working on stay. I don't jump, and I am looking for my forever family to love. My foster mom said you better hurry up and meet me before she falls more in love with me and decides to keep me.
2/13/2023 Foster Feedback: Koopa is a big boy, but oh so sweet and smart. He loves playing with my resident dogs. He plays gentle and loves to run and hop in the snow. He knows his basic commands. He kennels and is 100% potty trained. He does not like to be left alone so wouldn't do well in an apartment. Koopa would be a great addition to any home. We have not had him around cats or young children.
* Koopa tested positive for Parvovirus. Koopa was treated for the disease and is making a wonderful recovery. Because there is a chance Koopa could still be shedding the virus, he cannot be exposed to other puppies for 3 months. Caution should be taken with exposing Koopa to adult healthy dogs too but the risk of an adult healthy dog contracting Parvo is very minimal. Absolutely no dog parks, human park, puppy school or pet stores for at least 3 months.
