Foster Home Feedback
05/23/2023 Foster Feedback: Ziggy has been in our home since May 18. He has become such a sweet boy! It did take a day or so for him to settle down after having been in the shelter for a while, that was expected. Only one pee accident, that was very soon after he arrived and he was nervous; now he looks at us and goes and sits nicely by the door to go out. He does his business quickly and wants to come back in.
As for getting along with our pets, our two cats learned very quickly that he does not want to chase or bother them in any way. He likes to sniff them and that's about it.
Zig and our 20lb dog, Spanky/Shih Tzu, really enjoy playing together. Spanky is 8 years old and Zig is about 4 so there are times when Ziggy wants to continue playing but Spanky is tired; Ziggy usually redirects pretty well. A good walk is really fun for him and I think he would LOVE a fenced in yard to play fetch.
05/11/2023 Temporary Care Feedback: We picked up Ziggy from his neuter procedure and wanted to share some quick feedback. I had the pleasure of hanging out with Ziggy for a while yesterday and very much enjoyed him! He’s a fun, energetic young guy with lots of love for everyone. He was not a fan of his cone, but thankfully it’s very temporary. Without it, we’d have had no idea he recently had surgery.
