Foster Home Feedback
9/12/23 Foster Feedback: Sally came to us as an 8-week old puppy with a nasty bacterial skin infection and a broken back left leg. She did not have energy, and did not act like a normal puppy. The skin condition was corrected, her leg was amputated, and now she is a 15 lb hard charger. She is a normal puppy now.
Sally likes to go on walks with her 8-year old foster brother (Spanky), harass him, and explore in the yard. Spanky has tried to teach her to hunt for mice, frogs, and whatever else they can find.
Sally spends the night in a kennel, and is quiet all night. She likes her human time, and will cuddle on the couch with you. She doesn’t bark, but will talk a little at times. I began to wonder if she has some Husky in her.
Sally is not confined during the day, and is used to roaming the house. We supply her with chew toys to keep her mind off chewing the furniture, wires, etc. Accidents in the house have greatly diminished, and have not had any pee spots for 2 or 3 weeks.
She is a fun little puppy!
