9/13/23 Volunteer Feedback:   Sweet stray Electrician has been at the shelter for a few weeks now while awaiting a foster.  As a shelter volunteer I’ve come to love this chunk of love for sooooo many reasons.  He keeps his kennel clean, walks nicely on leash, is patient waiting for his turn to get one on one attention and is always just so incredibly happy!

I’ve been taking him on a few excursion just to spend more time with him.  So he has been my car buddy delivering meals on wheels and while he was a little nervous about getting in a car, once in he sat quietly in the backseat.  Yay!  We’ve been on a couple of outings to parks for walks and with all the squirrels scampering around gathering acorns, he ignored them completely.  He doesn’t pull on leash at all.  Yay!

I got to bring Electrician to a PetSmart adoption event last week where he was relaxed and enjoyed meeting people of all ages.  He loved being able to give gentle little kisses to many.  I think he would be a tremendous dog for a family with children.  He did so well at this event I was able to bring him to a meet and greet at a local restaurant this week.  He again loved meeting little kids and adults.

Living in a shelter environment is extremely stressful.  While there he has been introduced successfully to female dogs for some play.  Not so with other male dogs, so I’d say Electrician would do best as an only dog or only have female doggy sisters.  As always, slow introductions are best.

Please consider this sweet boy as your next best friend!!
