5/29/25 Foster Home Feedback: To those browsing this page, feeling disheartened because the dog you had hoped to adopt found a home elsewhere—I want to assure you, it wasn’t meant to be. I truly believe I am fostering the dog that was meant to be part of your family.
In just two and a half days, Anita Ruth has already become one of my favorites. You may be wondering—what makes a foster dog stand out and earn a spot on my favorites list? 100% potty trained. 100% kennel trained. 100% dog friendly. Anita Ruth shows absolutely no resourcing guarding of any kind. She sits for treats and before I put her food dish down. She walks nicely on leash however, is interested in bunnies, squirrels, and birds! Anita Ruth did beautifully meeting other dogs on our walks. She is so loving and gentle. She loves her humans and my dogs. She hasn’t been around kids but she’s pretty quiet, so I don’t think she’d knock over a toddler. She’s a nice size at 37 pounds. Anita Ruth has a super short coat and I haven’t seen any shedding. The only downfall, should you want to meet this beautiful girl, is you will have to deal with her teary foster!!!!
