Bruno has been diagnosed with a grade 2 luxating patella of the right knee. This means it is possible for the kneecap to move in and out of the patellar groove. This is a common orthopedic issue in small breed dogs. At this time it is not painful or crepitus and does not cause any trouble. Some dogs will live with a low grade medial patellar luxation their entire life with no problems, however in some dogs it can be progressive and surgical intervention may become necessary.
**
Bruno was diagnosed with a grade 4/6 systolic heart murmur on the left side. It is recommended that this continue to be monitored by your primary veterinarian. Heart murmurs can be progressive and medications may become necessary if he exhibits clinical signs like coughing, exercise intolerance or collapse.

Foster Home Feedback
6/17/25 Foster Feedback: Bruno Barks is a pretty cool little dude with a big heart. He’s both kennel and potty trained—we haven’t had a single accident! Bruno absolutely loves squeaky toys, cuddles, kisses, and being held close. He’s the perfect size to carry around and would happily stay in your arms all day if he could.
He gets along with my dog, but I think he secretly wishes he could be the only dog—he’s shown some dominant behavior with our resident pup. That said, he seems to really like my 7-year-old son, and they get along great.
