Foster Home Feedback

** Dog Selective

7/12/25 Volunteer Feedback: I chaperoned Cupcake to a few adoption events. She is listed as dog-selective, which was true at the events. She seemed less reactive to puppies than larger male dogs. She met children of all ages and did very well with them. She is very people-friendly and loves attention and belly rubs. I took her to my house and introduced her to my dog, a selective doxie mix, and they got along well. Cupcake took cues from my dog well and initiated play. Cupcake likes to be outside sniffing for bunnies and chasing squirrels. She seemed most content if I was also outside with her. She walks well on a leash but is dog reactive on walks, so we crossed the road as needed. She slept overnight, and while she was not happy in the crate, she did sleep all night in my bed. She found the dog toy box and happily destroyed a few stuffies and got the zoomies. She may have some separation anxiety, but I did not have her long enough to fully see her when she’s comfortable and settled in. Cupcake would make a wonderful family pet!

7/12/25 Volunteer Feedback: Cupcake is a sweet-natured and affectionate companion who brings joy wherever she goes. She thrives on walks and loves engaging with people. Though small in stature, Cupcake’s bright personality and endearing smile make a lasting impression. Her athleticism is equally remarkable—Cupcake has an impressive ability to jump high and has excellent potential for agility activities. She’s intelligent, eager to learn, and would flourish in a home that embraces her spirit. If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy wrapped in a pint-sized package, Cupcake could be your perfect match!
