10/16/25 Foster Feedback: Vigo is an awesome dog! He would really benefit from having another furry friend to play and learn with. He’s still a bit shy—though he’s come a long way.
A fully fenced yard is a must for Vigo. When outside of his yard, Vigo should always be on a long leash, as he will run if he gets loose. He sleeps peacefully on the bed through the night and doesn’t like being in a kennel.
Vigo would make a wonderful companion for a single person or a couple. However, please note that he has never been around children.
Please consider giving Vigo a loving home.
9/24/25 Foster Feedback: This handsome little guy is becoming more special every day! Vigo is fully potty trained and sleeps soundly through the night—right by my side. While he's still a bit unsure about kennels and may bark when left in one, he's making progress.
Vigo gets along well with other dogs of all sizes, as long as introductions are done properly. He’s still a bit wary of people, so he’ll need someone kind, gentle, and patient to help him build trust and confidence.
If you have space in your heart, please consider giving sweet Vigo the loving home he deserves!
9/14/25 Foster Feedback: What a sweet little guy Vigo is. Though he’s a bit nervous around people at first, he truly shines when he's with other dogs—he’s social with his furry friends. Vigo is 99% housebroken, which makes life easier, and he’s learning quickly.
One thing to know about Vigo is that he really dislikes being in a kennel—it scares him quite a bit. He feels safest when he's close to you, especially when he's lying beside you and getting gentle pets. However, he’s still a little unsure when someone reaches toward him, so patience is key.
Vigo would thrive with someone who is kind, calm, and willing to give him the time he needs to build trust. A fenced-in yard would be wonderful for him to explore safely, but it’s not a must—he responds well to being on a leash. Having another dog buddy would also be a great comfort to Vigo.
Vigo can be quite vocal at times, so he wouldn’t be a good fit for apartment living. If you have love, patience, and a gentle heart, Vigo could be the perfect companion.
