Foster Home Feedback
10/21/25 Foster Feedback:
I recently took Magic to an adoption event, and she was an absolute star! She loved all the attention and happily accepted pets from everyone who stopped by to meet her. While she’s still working on her manners—especially not jumping when she’s excited—she quickly settled down and sat patiently while people gave her love. Despite the busy atmosphere and even a live band playing nearby, she didn’t bark or make a peep the entire time.
She also did great on the car ride – either sitting up front watching out the window or just chilling in the backseat. (no bouncing back and forth between the front and back during the ride)
She handled the whole event like a pro and showed everyone just how lovable she is!
10/17/25 Foster Feedback: This sweet girl has been an absolute joy in our home! Magic does especially well with older kids and teenagers—she’s totally unfazed by the hustle and bustle of them coming and going, and seems to enjoy their company. She’s the perfect mix of active and cuddly: she loves going on walks and exploring the neighborhood, but she’s just as happy snuggling up on the couch with her people.
Magic keeps pretty quiet and has the cutest way of communicating—think Chewbacca-style grumbles and murmurs.
She’s curious and friendly toward other dogs when we’re out walking, always eager to say hello. Even when neighborhood dogs bark at us, she stays calm and unfazed, showing her easygoing nature. Magic does get excited when she spots squirrels or bunnies, so a good grip on the leash is helpful in those moments of enthusiasm!
She’s very eager to learn and highly food motivated which has helped with training! While she is curious about what we’re cooking or anything left on the counter, she shows good manners and keeps her feet on the ground, just watching with interest.
Magic is a major sweetheart and I know she’ll make a wonderful addition to a loving home
10/7/25 Foster Feedback: Magic is a sweet and snuggly girl who’s been a wonderful guest in our home. Don't let her serious expression fool you - she may look a little tough in photos, but she is one of the most affectionate dogs I've met! She’s smart, treat-motivated, and eager to learn — she already knows how to sit, lay down, and shake, and she’s picking up new skills quickly. Magic loves going for walks, exploring the neighborhood and practicing her leash manners. She’s fully potty trained, sleeps through the night, and has great house manners. She loves being close to her people. Magic is a loving, trainable companion who would thrive in a home that can continue her training and give her lots of affection.
