Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.

Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:
8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.
12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery. **
Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.
**Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.

10/16/25 Foster Feedback: Moonlight is an adorable, fun-loving pup who absolutely adores her people. She's full of joy and loves nothing more than spending time with her humans—whether that's cuddling up for affection or bouncing around with her favorite toys.
Moonlight is eager to share her big heart and playful energy with a family of her own. She gets along well with my dogs but needs to be watched around larger dogs.
We are currently working on potty training, and she's doing okay for a puppy. Moonlight is ready to bring joy, fun, and lots of snuggles into a forever home!
