Foster Home Feedback

2/1/26 Foster Feedback: Meet This Big‑Hearted Goofball
This sweet, food‑motivated boy loves people and wants to be part of everything you do. Curly is smart, eager to learn, and will happily work for treats — though he’s also talented at sneaking into any snack you forget to secure.
He struggles with kennel anxiety and needs a very sturdy crate if one is used. Curly is much calmer when he can stay close to his people.
On walks, he’s a delight. He moves well on leash, gets excited about squirrels, and quickly refocuses with a treat. Curly knows a couple of cues already and listens beautifully once you have his attention.
He’s gentle, affectionate, and full of goofy charm. He doesn’t always realize how big he is, so his enthusiasm can turn him into a lovable wrecking ball. He sleeps soundly at night, rolls joyfully in the snow,  and overall is a wonderful dog.
If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion with a huge heart and tons of potential, Curly might be your perfect match.

2/1/26 Volunteer Feedback:  Curly is a gentle, lovable guy with a heart of gold and has the softest fur. When the snow starts falling, Curly is in his element. He absolutely loves rolling around in the snow; it brings him pure happiness. Watching him run around makes anyone smile. Curly is also a smart, eager-to-learn pup. He’s highly treat‑motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. If you’re looking for a kind, intelligent companion who brings joy to every season, Curly is the dog for you!

1/26/26 Volunteer Feedback:  I have had the pleasure of having Curly over to our house for kennel breaks as well as escorting him to an adoption event. Curly  is as good of a boy as they come. He is gentle and a sweet soul. Curly  gets along well with my  German Shepard mix. He is treat motivated and learns fast. Curly  would do well in a home that walks him regularly and  he would be the best adventure buddy! Truly, Curly is a man/woman's best friend!

** Curly is Lyme and Anaplasmosis positive. These are tick-borne illnesses, and he is currently being treated with Doxycycline.
