Foster Home Feedback

2/4/2026 Foster Feedback: Richard Avocado Van Gogh is a sweet young guy who is lots of fun. He can be a little shy initially, but he is quick to warm up.

Richard is still getting used to his crate and sometimes whines a bit when you first put him in, but he keeps his crate clean and dry.

We are working on potty training, and with routine and structure he is doing well, but I would still recommend a belly band while he adjusts to a new home and new routine as he will have accidents. He has never had a poop accident in the house.

Richard is friendly with our dogs and does try and play, he sometimes will get protective of bones or high value resources.  I would recommend feeding him separately and not leaving out high value items as he is getting settled in your home.

Richard is a funny snuggly sweet guy and will make a wonderful addition to someone's home.
