Foster Home Feedback

2/3/2028 Foster Feedback:  Fennec has been with us a little over a week now and is settling in nicely. She’s becoming much more comfortable around our resident dogs. She’s not afraid to set boundaries when it comes to her personal space, so she’d do best with a dog who is respectful of those cues.

Fennec is a slow eater and does best being fed separately from other pets to make sure she’s getting all of her food.

With adults, Fennec has been incredibly sweet and docile. She absolutely loves to cuddle and enjoys quiet companionship. She’s still a very quiet girl overall and remains a bit timid, but she continues to make small, steady progress.

Fennec will thrive with a patient adopter who understands that she needs time and reassurance to build her confidence.

1/28/2026 Foster Feedback: We’ve had Fennec for three days, and she’s been such an easy, gentle presence in our home. She is potty trained and has had zero accidents. She’s very quiet and has a docile nature.

Fennec is timid and still decompressing, so she’s a bit reserved right now, but she’s already showing how affectionate she can be. She’s cuddly, loves belly rubs, and is happiest when she can relax close to her people. As she gains confidence, we expect even more of her personality to shine through.

Fennec does best with slow introductions to other dogs. She has snapped a few times at our small resident dogs when they got too close, but there’s been no contact; she is simply asking for space. Fennec would do best with respectful dog companions or in a home that can continue careful, gradual intros. She is very comfortable with our cat so appears to be cat friendly.

Fennec rides calmly in the car and was an absolute gem at the vet.  Overall, she’s a gentle, quiet soul who would thrive in a patient, loving home that gives her time to settle in and feel safe.
