Foster Home Feedback
2/20/26 Foster Feedback: Georgie Porgie continues to be a fun, happy little guy! He is very playful and affectionate.
He is your typical puppy who wants to chew on everything so keeping things out of reach and keeping an eye on him is key. He hasn’t ruined anything but if left unsupervised he might. He is learning that hands and hair are not toys and redirects easily with actual toys.
When we leave, we keep Georgie gated in the kitchen and every time I check on him on the camera he is laying quietly by the door or the gate. He either sleeps or plays with toys near me while I work from home. He isn’t crate trained but we’ve been working on positive associations with the crate. He sleeps in bed with us at night. He struggled to settle the first two nights but now sleeps quietly through the night.
Georgie is mostly quiet except he will sometimes bark when he hears “a scary noise” in the house.
He seems to love playing in the snow and has the funniest zoomies in our backyard. He loves to flop around like he has no bones. Georgie Porgie is an adorable character who will bring so much joy to your home!
2/16/26 Foster Feedback: Georgie Porgie is a sweet, people‑oriented boy who has quickly shown us just how loving he is. He warms up fast to new people and dogs, and once he feels comfortable, his goofy, charming personality shines through. He would thrive in a home with another playful, patient dog—he truly wants a canine buddy to romp with and is still learning how to read and respect other dogs’ cues. A tolerant dog who can help show him the ropes would be ideal.
Georgie is a lovely walker and has been curious but calm when passing people and other dogs. He’s still young, though, and learning that some things—like buses or the garage door—aren’t as scary as they seem. With continued positive exposure and reassurance, his confidence will only grow.
As a puppy, Georgie will benefit from routine, exercise, and mental stimulation to help him thrive. He’s had a few accidents and will need continued consistency with potty training. Sometimes he prefers not to go outside alone and feels more comfortable when his people are nearby.
When left home, he settles quietly by the door and waits patiently. We’re also slowly introducing him to the crate to help build positive associations, and he’s taking it all in stride.
Georgie is a gentle soul with a playful side, eager to learn and blossom with the right guidance. If you’re looking for a loving companion and have a friendly dog who could use a buddy, he might be the perfect match.
