Meet Percival. At just 5 months old, this tiny, fluffy gentleman looks like he stepped straight out of a fairy tale. People see him and imagine a sweet little lap dog who loves cuddles and quietly naps in a sunbeam. Percival would like to formally clarify that those people are incorrect.
Behind that adorable cloud of fluff is a puppy who is still very much under construction. Percival is currently majoring in High Energy Shenanigans with a minor in Questionable Life Choices.
Let’s cover the basics:
- Potty Training: Percival is not housebroken yet and is still learning that outside is, in fact, the correct place for bathroom activities. At the moment he prefers a more freestyle approach to life.
- Independence: While many fluffy puppies dream of being picked up and snuggled, Percival prefers to maintain a bit of personal space. He is not currently accepting applications for the position of “lap dog.”
- Kennel Opinions: Percival has very strong feelings about being in a kennel and believes everyone within a three-mile radius should hear those opinions. No shared walls for this guy, as your neighbors would for sure hear his complaints.
- Energy Level: Imagine a small tornado made of fluff. Now give it legs.
Because Percival is still figuring out how to exist in the human world, he will need a very patient home that is ready to put in the time for training, routine, and helping him build confidence. He may look like a perfect little stuffed animal, but he is actually a full-time puppy project.
The good news? Puppies who get the right guidance often grow into incredible companions. Percival just needs someone willing to help him learn the ropes (and possibly survive a little chaos along the way).
