Foster Home Feedback

6/10/2026 Foster Feedback: Inside the house, Hermes will follow you around. He does not need to be right next to you, but likes to be within eyeshot so he can see you. He is a nice balance of independent and clingy, and definitely a snuggler.
Hermes is leash trained and responds well to redirection if he ever pulls too hard. He drops his toys if you ask him to, and loves if you throw them. Most of the time he will drop them in your lap when he wants to play.

Hermes took a trip to Duluth a couple weeks ago and did wonderfully traveling in the car. He just laid down and put his head in my lap the entire ride. He also loved sticking his head out of the window and smelling all the smells. He'd make a great shotgun rider for the right home-maybe yours?

5/20/2026 Foster Feedback: I've been fostering Hermes for a couple weeks now and he definitely shows golden retriever vibes. His favorite thing in the world, other than people, is his tennis ball. He does wonderful on walks and is always curious to meet other people or dogs. No walk is complete without holding the ball the entire time, and this is a task he does with great pride.
Hermes also does well at home, and he settles in nicely while I'm at work after a couple of minutes, and is always happy and tail wagging to see me when I get back. He is potty trained and never had an accident while I've been gone. Hermes can be perfectly content chomping on a ball for hours by himself, but he'll let you know when it's time for some indoor fetch.
He also does wonderfully with nail trimming, and loves car rides.
