Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.

**Fridge Johnson has an umbilical hernia. If it is present at the time of the neuter it will need to be repaired at the adopter's expense. It will likely add about an additional $80-$100 to the cost of the neuter, depending on the vet clinic.
Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:
8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.
12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery. **
Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.
**Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.

8/13/26 Foster Feedback: Fridge Johnson is the biggest puppy in the bunch and an absolute teddy bear. He is fluffy, sweet, and loves being close to his people. For a puppy, Fridge is relatively calm and easygoing, and he seems happiest when he can soak up attention and affection. He is a big, lovable cuddle bug with a gentle nature and plenty of sweetness to go around.
