Foster Home Feedback

** No Cats or Bunnies

1/16/26 Foster Feedback: Bread is one of those dogs who just melts into your heart. He’s incredibly sweet, loves to cuddle, and seems happiest simply being near his people. He has the cutest little bursts of playful energy, then happily settles in for naps and snuggles.

During his weekend stay with me, Bread adjusted quickly and made himself right at home. He did wonderfully with my senior resident dog—he greeted her politely, handled her corrections with grace when he got too close, and after some mutual sniffing, they comfortably went about their day. He showed great social awareness and an easygoing nature that makes him a joy to have around.

1/4/26 Foster Feedback: Bread is a fantastic dog with a real zest for life. He truly loves everyone. He will worship the ground you walk on and will be the best family dog!
He’s ready for his fur-ever home! Bread knows many commands—sit, stay, down, bed, spin, shake, and working on more. He’s an eager-to-please kind of dog.
If you wanna snuggle, he’ll be your ‘loaf’ on the couch. He loves tug-of-war! He just wants to be wherever the action is and more than ready for any kind adventure.

11/2/25 Foster Feedback: Bread has been having a blast playing and training with our homemade flirt pole. He’s quick, focused, and impressively responsive—especially when asked to stop on command. It’s been a joy watching Bread engage with the toy and show off his listening skills.

Recently, Bread had the chance to spend some quality time with another 4 Luv foster family. During his visit, he was lovingly spoiled with cozy couch snuggles and bedtime cuddles. Bread was clearly happy to be with them, and just as happy to come home again, tail wagging and full of love.

We’ve also been working on introductions with our family dog. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue’s behavior team has been a tremendous help in guiding the process. Bread has done an excellent job tolerating the muzzle and has made great strides with the introductions.

9/22/25 Foster Feedback: Bread has been working on ‘stay’ command and playing ‘hide and seek’ during these rainy days. He is getting to know ‘kennel’ command before I leave the house. Beef jerky is a new favorite food for him. Bread is super loyal and follows me very closely.

8/24/25 Volunteer Feedback: Bread is a bundle of energy and joy! On rainy days, we play hide-and-seek, and he’s been making great progress with his “stay” command. Invite him onto your lap and he’ll happily settle in for snuggles. He loves training time, enjoys his walks, and never says no to a car ride. But his absolute favorite word? “Outside.” I only wish I could share videos of his hilarious antics when he knows it’s time to go.

6/10/25 Volunteer Feedback: Oh this honey! Bread  is a "people" dog and will have a smile on his face as long as you are around. He is playful but gentle and really seems to understand.  He is reportedly a very high jumper but I've only seen him happily chase after toys and walk great on his leash. Bread also does a fabulous job snuggling
