Foster Home Feedback
Harrison came into rescue with multiple dogs from a breeder release/rescue. These dogs appeared to not have had much human handling. He was matted so badly that even his "bangs" were matted over his eyes so that he could not see that well. Upon shaving his hair/matts off, tiny little scabs were found on his body due to wood chips that had been matted into his fur.
He is all healed up now and enjoys being able to see clearly and frolic with my dogs. Harrison is still pretty fearful of me and my husband, but improves daily. He is a very curious dog and will gravitate to where my dogs are hanging out. He does not yet walk on a leash and I've been keeping him in the fenced yard for safety reasons.
He keeps his kennel area clean and uses washable potty pads at present.
Are you the person that can allow Harrison to grow into being a regular dog at your house? He does require having another friendly dog around to show him the ropes and continue to bring him out of his shell. Please consider being this dog's hero.
