Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:
8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.
12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.

9/16/25 Foster Feedback: Gionna aka Gigi is a joyful, outgoing pup who turns heads wherever she goes! She’s smart, curious, and already showing how quickly she picks up on routines. Whether it’s exploring new places (she’s a great little shopping buddy!) or learning new tricks, she approaches everything with enthusiasm and heart.
She loves people and isn’t shy about asking for attention with her sweet eyes and wagging tail. Gionna also does well with other dogs and is learning her manners every day. She’s making fantastic progress with potty training and is already catching on quickly — a big win for such a young pup!
