Foster Home Feedback

3/11/2026 Building Volunteer Feedback: Oh my goodness, Mr. Riggs is just the best well behaved 8-year-old gentleman! He is still waiting for a foster to open up so I’ve been spending some extra time with him and giving him a break from the shelter. On Sunday, we went to social hour at the Air Museum and discovered Riggs is an excellent passenger in a vehicle, is non reactive to seeing other dogs and that he knows sit, down, heel and stay! He also walks loose-leash great,too. Tuesday, we took a long sniff walk around both ponds south of Horizon school. Riggs posed for pics at the playground. Today, I had a massage and he got to come with to the appointment and waited quietly until I was finished. Riggs showed off all his obedience skills to my therapist. From there, we went to PetSmart to familiarize him to the sights and smells since we will be there for Saturday’s (3/14/26) adoption event from 1-2:30 pm Come and meet Riggs! On the way back to the shelter, he curled up and had a snooze riding shotgun. I just love this guy!
