**  Stark  qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors Program. This program places senior dogs (age 7 or older) with senior citizens (age 65 or older) at a reduced adoption fee of $65.00. If you qualify and are interested in participating in this program, please fill out an application online and type "SENIOR" after your name.

**  While in rescue Stark had a mass removed from his left sternum/axilla that was sent to a diagnostic lab for histopathology. It came back as a Grade 2 soft tissue sarcoma fully excised with clear margins . This indicates that no additional treatments are necessary at this time, but because it was a grade two it has a higher possibility of recurrence, typically in the same area. It is recommended that all masses are examined by a veterinarian and removed as necessary.
