21 May Happy Tail for Deuce
Dear 4LuvOfDog,
Hello there! I adopted my family about 3 months ago and I am glad I chose them. The first night they brought me to my new home, I got to sleep on the bed. I try to take up the whole bed every night and kick my mommy off. I love to go for walks and even have a friend down the hall who joins us sometimes. He is a rat terrier named Duke. He always wants to play and sometimes I don’t so I have to tell him to calm down and behave. His mommy is really nice too. My brother Tristyn is 3 and we get along most of the time. I am his first doggy so he is learning how to help feed me and play with me. I love going in his room at night and laying on the floor by his bed until he goes to sleep. I have to guard the couch during the day. Mommy says I am napping but she doesnt know I am just pretending waiting for the chance to protect the house.
I have some issues with being left alone. I tore up some carpet and I thought they would be really mad but mommy said I was in trouble but she still loved me. I also tore up the bottom of my kennel and bent some wires. I am doing better now but still get very anxious when they leave me alone. They don’t leave me out of the kennel anymore. Maybe eventually I can talk them into getting me a doggy brother or sister to keep me company.
