Happy Tail for Ender!

“It has been three years in my forever home now! I have gotten to do and see a lot of cool things in that time! When my dad picked me up it was just him and a couple friends living together now I have a mom and a ton of friends that I get to see regularly. My favorite place is probably the lake, I get to run around and catch squirrels and rabbits and birds (even though they are too quick) and fish, and really just about anything that tries to play chase with me! If I can’t be at the lake my next favorite place is having play dates with other dogs that have been rescued as well! Stella who looks just like me and has the same mannerisms is fun to play with because we both have a motor that never ends (my dad always refers to her as my girlfriend, i don’t know what that means). I also get to play with Penny (black lab mix rescued from the Alexandria area) she is a little harder to get along with because I like being the alpha dog in the room but she is just so big (88lbs) she can push me around a bit. I also lucked out because my dad’s sister volunteers for 4luvofDog and I get to meet a ton of awesome dogs that are looking for their forever homes! One of my favorite dogs I got to play with and actually share a Christmas with was Blitzen! Him and I would play tug of war for hours and chase each other around. I am really enjoying life and have learned a bunch of new tricks the past few years. I can sit, leave it, shake, lay down, roll over, and speak! I even learned how to paddle board with my mom! My favorite treats are elk antlers, I will spend hours chewing on those things! I have been a very spoiled dog since I am my parents’ only one :)I am very excited about the new place my parents are talking about, they keep mentioning that there is a yard I can run around and sunbathe in. Which sounds amazing considering the last three years my favorite spot during the day has been the balcony of our third story apartment.”
