30 Nov Happy Tail for Groot (FKA Gort)
“I’ve always been a dog person, and after Max, our beloved dog, crossed the Rainbow Bridge over a year ago I felt a void. I checked out 4 Luv of Dog Rescue’s site and others in and out of town, hoping to find a dog that would be a perfect fit for our family, but sadly, they either got adopted or weren’t the right fit. I was starting to lose hope. Then, I saw Gort, and wow, what a cool dog! I asked about him, but she mentioned he had a meet-and-greet. I figured a dog like that would be adopted for sure. But about a week later, an email popped up saying you still wanted to meet Gort. I was like heck ya! I met him that same day and fell in love. Since my wife was out of town, I couldn’t adopt for a couple of days so she could meet him. That day finally came, and the foster brought him, and luckily my older daughter was in town with her dog, and they got along GREAT! He’s such a smart and curious little pup. We named him Groot, and he seems to be getting used to his new name. He’s a wonderful boy! Thanks so much for giving us the chance to give this amazing dog a home. My void is finally filled!”
