25 Apr Happy Tail for Lil’Buddy (FKA Brave Heart)
“We lost our beloved Ruckus, FKA Teddy, my first rescue to old age, complicated by Cushing’s Disease last September. Our home was empty for the first time in over 20 years, and then I saw Brave Heart! I knew we had to adopt him the second I saw his cute little mug. Our problem is naming him. At first it was Harley, then Shadow, then Lil Jack, after my first Min Pin, then this and that, and we just can’t seem to find his name. Normally my dogs name themselves. In the meantime, I’ve been calling him Lil Buddy or Buddy Boy. So after three weeks of my Lil Buddy joining our home, I guess for now his name is Lil’Buddy. And maybe that is what he’s been telling me his name was all along, because he knew how much I needed a little buddy.”
