11 Jun Happy Tail for Lumi (FKA Breezie)
“Hi! I’m emailing to update about Breezie, who we’ve named Lumi (because she’s the light of our life).
I found Lumi on your Facebook page when she was going to be at a meet and greet event at Natural Pet Center. I really wasn’t sure if we’d be able to have her, as my husband really wasn’t sure about getting a third dog, but I just had to meet her. We had a 16.5 year old American Eskimo dog named Daisy who I got when she was 8, and I just had to go meet this precious eskie puppy. Lumi had a broken foot and wasn’t ready to be adopted, and my husband wasn’t on board. Fast forward just a few short weeks, and we were saying goodbye to our Daisy girl unexpectedly. We were absolutely devastated. Our house was way too quiet and we missed having our white puffball romping around. I was totally shocked to see that Lumi was still at 4 Luv of Dog Rescue. She was still recovering from her injury and was going to be adoptable right when we decided we needed another dog. It really felt like fate. With my husband on board, I knew we had to have her.
It’s obvious how much her foster family loved her and cared for her by how sweet and loving she is. She’s playful, energetic, and loves to give kisses. She’s smart and learns new tricks fast. She’s brought our shy dog out of her shell and has gotten her to wrestle with her nightly. We couldn’t be any more in love with her and she’s healing parts of our broken hearts. Thank you to 4 Luv of Dog Rescue, Brooke, and her family for helping us bring home this absolute angel. We can’t believe how fortunate we are.”
