15 Sep Happy Tail for Truffle
It has been a little over two months since my fiance and I adopted Truffle and we couldn’t be happier to have this very good boy as part of our family. He is a total sweetheart and little ball of joy, he has quickly become our best friend. We live in a downtown apartment and Truffle absolutely loves visiting some of the dog-friendly downtown businesses and sniffing all of the different smells while we are out and about. He also enjoys taking frequent trips to the park as well as cuddling on the couch or playing with his toys at home. He is so smart, affectionate, and loyal. If Truffle had it his way, he would be right by my side all day long!
I was initially not sure if I would be approved to adopt since we live in an apartment with no yard, but I have since learned that with the right care, attention, and exercise, some dogs can thrive in an apartment setting. Since my fiance and I are both new to being dog parents, we are glad that we chose to adopt an older rescue dog–Truffle came to us fully housetrained and already knew several commands which has made it a lot easier for us to adjust to caring for a dog. I can’t thank the volunteers at 4 Luv of Dog Rescue enough for rescuing our sweet boy and bringing him into our lives!
